Sopa de Codo [Pasta salad]


This comforting pasta salad makes a great side dish for any lunch or dinner.

Ingredients:

-400g of elbow pasta

-100g of ham, diced

-1/2 onion

-1 clove of garlic

-1.5 tablespoons of butter

-250ml crema

-1 cup of milk

-salt, to taste

Directions:

1) In a large pot, cook the pasta according to instructions, adding the full onion, garlic, 1tsp of salt, and a dash of oil.

2) In a large pan over medium heat, heat the butter. Add the diced ham and cook for 2 minutes.

3) Pour the crema into the pan and mix it together. Add the milk and stir for 2 minutes.

4) When the pasta is cooked, drain it and add it to the pan, ensuring you coat it in all of the sauce. Taste for salt.
