Salsa de Chipotle


Chipotles. Tomatoes. Garlic. Salt. Very simple, very flavorful, very good on almost anything.

Ingredients:

-11 tomatoes

-13 chipotles

-2 heads of garlic

-1.5 TBS salt

Directions:

1) On a pan or comal over medium-high heat, toast the tomatoes until blackened on all sides, about 10 minutes.

2) Remove the tomatoes and toast the chipotles for 5 minutes until blackened on all sides.

3) Remove the tomatoes and toast the garlic until blackened, about 5 minutes.

4) Put them all in a blender or food processor with salt and add 1-2 cups of water, depending on how thick you like your salsa. Blend to your desired consistency!
